These are general instructions for the Epson Wf-2540
Change Copy Quality
Copy Quality is the quality of the printer prints when making a copy. Sometimes the settings might need to be set back to standard. Here are the steps.
Look at the main display for the printer. You will be navigating with the arrows, pressing OK at the center of the arrows, and pressing the “Menu” button below the arrows.
Press settings (menu)
Choose “Paper and Copy settings” and Press OK
Choose “Layout” and press OK
Chosoe “With border” and press OK
You are now back in the “Paper and copy settings”
Choose “Paper Type” and press OK
Choose “plain paper” and press OK
You are now back in the “Paper and copy settings”
Choose “Quality” and press OK
Choose “Standard Quality” and press OK
You can now exit by pressing the Menu button for “Done”
Change Print Quality - OSX
If the print quality changes to photo or something undesirable it can make printing slow and take up a lot of ink. Sometimes this can be changed as an error and you must revert it back manually. Here is how:
To Enlarge
Enlarging small documents should be a matter of putting them on the tray. However if you want to enlarge already large documents you may need to use some trial and error with where you place them on the scanner platter.
Place document on the scanner
Press the “Menu” button
Use the arrows to find: “Paper and copy settings” Press Ok at the center of the arrows.
Find “Reduce/enlarge” Press OK
Find “Custom size” Press OK
Press Up and down to change percentage
Press OK when done
Press Menu when done
!!IMPORTANT!! Do not forget to set the percentages back to 100 when completed.
