These instructions asume that you have installed the software and have your computer setup to recieve a scan when pressing the scan button on the scanner (opposed to choosing to scan from the computer)
Place document on platter, face down, and with the top facing the left.
Press scan button
Use left and right arrows (which are to the right of the screen) to choose document type (choose Document/PDF)
Hit Diamond button to scan (white for black and white, green for color)
The printer will scan and then send the document to the computer. It will be saved in Documents.
To get to documents, Click Start, then Documents (usually at the top right of the start menu)
This scanner will Auto name the file to: “IMG_(date)_(number).pdf” Example“IMG_20140626-0001”
In the documents, to find the file, you can click the top columns and sort files by either name, or date, and that should help you locate the file.
Dont forget to remove your document from the scanner
