You also might have just had too many programs running at once. I know it is a fast computer, but even the fastest computers can get bogged down. Whenever slowness seems to exist, you can of course shut down the computer, but also you can close an application. You can tell if an application is open by looking in the dock (at the bottom) and seeing if there is a little glowing dot below it. If it is and you are not using it, and the computer is slow, you should close it. The easiest way to do this is by selecting it at the bottom and hitting the key combination “Command” + “Q” (Command is also the Apple button)

There are a few different ways to rename a document

This is the easiest way to rename a document. It must be be performed from the desktop

• Find a file, Such as Note on the Desktop
• Click once to select the file. The title will be Dark Blue.
• Wait just a moment, then click on the name of the file.
• The color will change from dark blue to light blue
• You can start typing the new file name. You can also click in the file name to place the cursor there to make edits, just as you would in a regular text editing application
• To save you can simply press the keyboard button “Return.” You can also save by clicking somewhere on the desktop that is Off the File.

• This is only to be performed while in an open document
• open document
• go to the title at top of the window
• Hover the mouse over the title and a little down triangle will appear
• Click this triangle
• choose the drop down item “rename”

• Find a file, such as a Note on the Desktop
• Press the key combo “Command (AKA,Apple)” + “i”,
• This will bring up a window about all the info of the file
• rename in the title box
• Close the Information window

• Change Tracking
