Open Dragon by clicking on the bottom icon
(note:When an app is open, there is a small light below the icon in the dock indicating it is on)
Make sure “Your Profile” is on the left, and “BlackHeadset” is on the right.
Choose “Continue” - Loading profile will take a minute.
Now you have two different places you can turn on and off the dictate function:

To use dicate you need to open a document or email where text can be entered.
Then click the cursor so you are in the text box and turn on the dragon dictate by pressing the red stop sign, turing it green.
Now you can talk. Don't forget you should say period or comma when needed.
When done you can click the green icon in the top menu bar or the status window and put it back in the off mode (the stop sign)
